Cheaka Amen: Edges Babershop @Applicist
Cheka Amen is a barber, a Buddhist, a jewelry designer, and a GoGo queen. Her juxtapose of her multiple genres emits a character that is one of the most unique in the DMV area. For this documentary we are allowed entrance to the backstage of her daily routine. From giving that laser sharp face to choosing her accessories, we are able to thread together a ritual that will captivate the audience and hopefully give the subject reflection on how she perceives her personification.
